Illinois' 26th District is one of the best parts of Lake County. It is a place of family, hard working people and great natural resources. Unfortunately, existing leadership has failed to match the vitality and spirit of our community.
Our roads, education system and businesses have not been properly supported. Taxes continue to increase, businesses face limitations due to inadequate roads, good paying jobs are harder to find and our schools do not get their fair share from the state. As Mayor of Round Lake, I have often been frustrated by the lack of effective representation in Springfield for our district.
A citizen led government is the one that is disciplined and makes sound decisions on behalf of its people. I am running for the state senate to go to Springfield and fight for our community. If we all pull together, we can bring the much needed improvements we deserve. Please join me.
